Today is the start of Manufacturer’s Week in Washington DC. For three days manufacturers – large, medium and small – will travel to Washington, D.C. There will be several different events during these three days. All revolve around one common goal: the opportunity to meet legislators and leave a durable impression of who we are, what we stand for, why manufacturing matters and why manufacturers believe so strongly in our pro-growth, pro-worker agenda. If you cannot attend in person, then go to this link and just enter your zip code and send a message to your Members of Congress to be in e-solidarity with your brothers and sisters who are here in Washington telling the story of manufacturing this week. Scores have already done it today — join the crowd. You can be our "air support" — manufacturing needs you!

NAM’s mission is to enhance the competitiveness of manufacturers by shaping a legislative and regulatory environment conducive to U.S. economic growth and to increase understanding among policymakers, the media and the general public about the vital role of manufacturing to America’s economic future and living standards.
