Mark over at the Lean Blog has created an informal poll asking who the best lean company is. Some of the usual suspects are on the list, plus a few you may not have considered. Try it out below and we’ll update you on the results. We’ll leave the definition of "best" and "lean" up to you!

Man after what you wrote about Wiremold a couple months ago, that company needs to fall completely off the list. HON is pretty good from what I hear, as is Deere. Will be interesting to see who finishes last… GM or Ford! Ford may have done more so far, but I think GM may have a fundamentally better lean program. Of course it’s all relative…

GM now beating Wiremold! With the exception of Dell and Wal-Mart (both too high), I’m in pretty much agreement with current results.

Danaher surpassed Toyota for #1 right now. Interesting. Again, this is a VERY unscientific poll.
