One of the fun things with having well over a thousand subscribers and several thousand readers a day is that posts from the Evolving Excellence blog get picked up by global media outlets. This leads to new and interesting audiences and some very intriguing email discussions with some of those new readers. So far I’ve seen our posts picked up over a hundred times, and the following is a sampling of some recent posts published on national media outlets that have generated some buzz.
First off, the new Fox Business Network website picked up our Superfactory 20 list of lean manufacturing stocks. As an aside, the SF20 is performing considerably better than the S&P 500 so far this year! Fox has also picked up several of our posts ranting on the naivete of outsourcing.
Reuters has picked up several of our posts on Boeing. I guess that kills any chance I had catch a ride on a DreamLifter! Reuters is one of our most prolific republishers lately.
The Palm Beach Post picked up our old story on manufacturing issues and the presidential candidates.
A San Diego TV station reposted our story on how immigration policy is creating problems for technology companies. That was also picked up by an Indianapolis TV station.
So next time you’re thumbing through your newspaper or surfing a news website, don’t get so surprised when you think you’re experiencing deja vu! You may have seen it here first!
