Dan
Markovitz is the founder and president of TimeBack Management. As a
trainer, he has worked with UBS, Merrill Lynch, American Express, AXA
Equitable, RSM McGladrey, Nixon-Peabody, Young & Rubicam, Pfizer,
the Veterans Administration Hospital of New York, and Planned
Parenthood of New York City, among other clients. He has been quoted
in Time.com, written for the Wall Street Journal, Industry Week, and
the Journal of Accountancy, and is a regular contributor to the New
York Enterprise Report. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Markovitz
held management positions at Sierra Designs, Adidas, CNET and Asics
Tiger. He also has experience as an entrepreneur, having founded his
own athletic footwear company.
Mr.
Markovitz also draws on prior experience as an educator and athletic
coach. As an English teacher, he was nominated for the prestigious
Disney Teacher of the Year award, and he continues to coach high school
cross-country. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from
the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
